Missions & Outreach: Habitat for Humanity
Prince of Peace volunteers many hours annually to Habitat for Humanity.
Prince of Peace participates in an annual build as part of the "Holy Hammers" (HH) coalition of 14 churches. For 2012, we are scheduled to build a whole house at 418 Edmund. the hole was dug in November, the foundation is in and capped. We'll begin framing on Monday, April 9th. Signups will begin at the end of February.
Chris Henningson (651-642-1080) was our church contact for 2011, 2012 is to be announced.
Thanks to Dan Dodge, James Ericksen, Tom Frantz, Jim Goepfert, Gus Hagen, Dick Jacobson, Denny Niebeling, Gordon Peterson, Rich Pursley, Hadley Verwest, and Dan Wagner who worked during one or more of our eight days at 595 Case Avenue in St. Paul. .
