Membership: Enduring Gifts
For the past 10 years, several groups at Prince of Peace have periodically worked on a campaign called Enduring Gifts.
Enduring Gifts is an endowment fund that will provide a financial base separate from Prince of Peace's regular annual budget that will enable us to extend our mission to community programs, institutional ministries, and other works of the church at home and abroad. A bequest from a member of Prince of Peace has already been received to start this initiative.
This is not a part of a call to Stewardship which forms our annual budget; rather, it's an opportunity to provide for long-range giving. Types of giving include:
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Pooled Income Fund
- Deferred Gift Annuity
- Stock Dividends
- Stocks and Bonds
- Wills and Trusts
- Real Estate
- Many other forms of long-range giving
Again, this is not a part of a call to Stewardship; rather, it's an opportunity to plan your long-term intention giving.
